HANNAH BLURTON

Hannah Blurton is a Brazilian-American designer, writer, dancer, fitness competitor and model.  She was born and raised by her single mother in Canton, Ohio; Susan Blurton, an art teacher, costume designer and former fashion designer. Hannah began performing at age four in minor stage productions at the Canton Palace Theater, Canton Civic Center, and Akron Civic Theater.  She trained as a ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern dancer at A Time to Dance, and was accepted into the Pleasant View School for the Arts for continued training in dance, theater, art and music. She also began taking strong initiative in forecasting trends and conceptualizing new products with a budget savvy mindset by assisting her mother in costume design by shopping flea markets for low-budget plays while working various retail jobs. Hannah attracted widespread recognition upon signing with Pro Model and Talent Management in Akron, Ohio, where she appeared in various modeling and commercial shoots. In 2006, Hannah accepted a full-ride scholarship to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she studied as a Theater major and obtained a position within the Dance Theater Company.  She later changed her major to Broadcast Journalism to pursue a career as a news anchor, before ultimately setting her sights on a degree in Fashion Design. She graduated in 2011 at the top of her class as Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design at Kent State University in Ohio.  Hannah moved to Los Angeles, California where she began her career as a fashion designer only three weeks after graduating. Hannah is a creative and passionate individual seeking to dedicate her creative talents to making the world a healthier and happier place by sharing one talent of hers at time. She is currently seeking a full-time position that will support the company’s design innovation, trend conceptualization, visual representation, business growth & financial goals.
