EMBELLISHMENTS
At BCBG MAXAZRIA, Hannah reported directly to the Design Director as their “right-hand” due to her ability to self-start, research emerging trends, collaborate with designers and merchandisers, and anticipate the needs of the different divisions to reach the target contemporary women's market. She was responsible for designing styles in every product category with embellishment layouts including but not limited to beading, sequins, hot fix, studs, embroideries and perforations. Hannah developed a strong understanding of both woven and knits construction, pattern-making and artwork placement, as she created clear and cost-effective layouts with tech packs to send overseas. Hannah was also responsible for creating the company's seasonal mood boards and exchanging trend information with vendors, in order to source new fabrics, trims and development techniques. She attended photoshoots, where she organized and styled the looks for catalogues and e-commerce. She was also responsible for dressing celebrity influencers including Carrie Underwood, Gabby Douglas, Carly Rae Jepsen and Amy Poehler.
